Chenghua

Chenghua District, situated in the northeastern sector of urban Chengdu, is one of the core areas of the region and has a population of just under one million. Chenghua is part of the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle and also the Chengdu-Deyang-Mianyang economic belt – this probably plays a part in the fact that Chenghua has been named as China’s best urban district for investment value and the best urban district for China’s commercial real estate investment. Aside from the recent economic development, the district has been encouraging growth in other sectors via industrial renovations, boosting the service orientated economy and an ambitious plan to reconstruct the modern urban centre. Chenghua district has been at the forefront of the development for the surrounding area as a whole and has been the driving force behind the progress in urbanization and modernization in the region - with the final goal of creating the top internationalized urban district in the central & western China. Transportation is conveniently supported by several highways that thread through the district. It is also served by six metro lines: 1,2,3,4,6, and 7.
