Hexi

Hexi district combines a wealthy residential population with culture, government and emerging commercial areas.  With the Hai River as its eastern border, Hexi district is home to the Tianjin city municipal government.  Its older commercial area, Xiaobailou is one of the CBD areas bordering Heping District hosting a cluster of office buildings and sharing Nanjing Road. Hexi has abundant cultural resources with Tianjin Grand Theatre, Tianjin Museum and Tianjin Gallery sitting in this area, forming a cultural center together with retail projects surrounded such as Galaxy International Shopping Mall. In addition, there is an emerging area in Hexi called New Ba Da Li area, which combines both commercial and residential functions. With its first office project Shuang Ying Plaza entering the market in 2018, New Ba Da Li area is becoming a new focal point in Hexi District. Hexi District is served by metro line 1, 5 and 6.
