Shinan
Shinan District is one of the administrative districts of Qingdao City. It is located in the south of Qingdao City and is the center of politics, culture, and finance in Qingdao. It is home of the Qingdao municipal government. It borders group island to the west, Maidao and Laoshan District to the east, Shibei District to the north and situates north of Jiaozhou Bay, facing the Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone. The area is 12.7 kilometers long from East to West, 4.8 kilometers wide from north to South, and an area of 30.01 square kilometers.
