Weiyang

Weiyang district which originated from the palace of the great Han dynasty in the prefecture of dahan, meaning "prosperity and prosperity, not enduring” is located in the north of Xi 'an city and is the starting point of the silk road.  In history, there are 11 dynasties such as qin, han, sui and tang have been established here. As in 2016, there were 11 streets under the jurisdiction of Weiyang district with a total population of 85.08 million. Achieving the gross regional product (GDP) of 772.88 billion RMB, it has the national level of Xi 'an economic and technological development zone, the Feng dong new town of Xi’ian new area and Chanba ecological district. Weiyang districy have north second ring road, north third ring road, 312 national highway, Xi'an-Tongchuan Expressway, belt expressway, airport expressway and other city fast road and highway.
